A Pech River Valley Radio Reporter recently covered live fire training that the ANA conducted at Camp Blessing in Nanghalem Village in the Konar Province of Afghanistan.  Following the training, he interviewed four Soldiers from the 2nd Company, 2nd Kandak, 3rd Brigade, 201st Corps.  The intent behind these interviews is to continue to connect the people of the Pech to their ANSF.  We will continue to do weekly interviews that will cover recent operations, concerns, recruitment, their training and proficiency, among many other things.  We also intend to target the fact that the ANA is comprised of soldiers who come from all the different tribes from throughout Afghanistan. We will focus on the fact that they are all working TOGETHER towards a common goal of PEACE in Afghanistan and an Afghanistan free of miscreant fighters. This has been an excellent way to get the message out to the people of the Pech on the success and legitimacy of their ANSF and it also gives the ANA a platform in which they can voice their opinions and talk about their successes.
