In the Paktika Province, Eastern Afghanistan,
Coalition Forces assisted a group of Afghan National Police (ANP) in
the distribution of 28 bags of winter wheat seed to several local
villages in the area. A local village Elder provided the ANP with 21
families designated to receive one bag of wheat seed each. The rest of
the bags were distributed to farmers in the area. The local populous
was very receptive to Coalition Forces and the success of this mission
will help solidify the position of all Afghan National Security Forces
(ANSF) support and encourage local national self-sufficiency.
