The Troopers of 3 -73rd worked with the ANA Soldiers recently as they completed their certification training on the 82mm mortar system.  The training consisted of the same crew drills and battle focused tasks the Coalition mortar teams must complete and culminated with a Live Fire Exercise and Call for Fire training.  The Afghan and American mortar teams now share the same firing positions and fire the same missions in Paktika Province. The ANA continues to prove their worth to the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Citizens, and to themselves.
