2008-01-05-oruzgan-ha.jpgAs the New Year is upon us, so is the bitter cold that accompanies every Afghan Winter. Earlier this week, soldiers from the Afghan National Army and Coalition Forces delivered winter jackets, clothes, and food to villagers in the Shahidi Hasas District, Oruzgan Province.  Efforts like these have so many positive effects on the Afghan people from ensuring they stay warm through the winter to legitimizing the ANA’s presents and dedication to the security and safety of their fellow citizens.
